The Front Corner Post is a vertical structural member at the front corner of the container. It is used to repair and replace posts that are bent, corroded or damaged in service.

Gavan Asia supplies 6.0 mm thick container front corner posts, with sections and lengths to match the container design. Suited to depots and container maintenance and repair (M&R) contractors.

The front corner post is the vertical post at the end opposite the doors. It connects the top and bottom corner fittings (Corner Castings).

The post works with the front end frame to keep the container's shape and strength. When the post is damaged, other parts of the structure usually take extra load too, so the repair assessment should not stop at the post alone.

When choosing a replacement post, check that the section, thickness and length match the original, as well as the fit with the corner castings and adjacent parts, so the repair restores the structure properly.
