Container Roof Repair Panels, 3, 4 and 5 Corrugations

Patch panels are for damage that can be repaired locally under the container owner's requirements, instead of replacing the whole roof sheet.

The main benefit is keeping the repair scope in line with the actual damage, which controls both parts cost and container downtime.

If the damage is widespread or larger than the panel, reassess the repair method and part size. A local patch is not the right choice in every case.

3 corrugation, code ROOFPE3-CM Formed 3 corrugation panel, 600 mm long, for small to medium damaged areas

Rocket head, code ROOFPE2/4-CM Size 2 mm thick, 1144 mm wide, 600 mm long. Registered name: หลังคา หัวจรวด 2X1144X600 Patch. The corrugation end profile differs from the standard type, so compare it with the original panel before ordering.

4 corrugation with 2 heads, code ROOFPE4N Size 2 mm thick, 1045 mm wide, 600 mm long. Registered name: หลังคา 4 ลอน 2 หัว 104.5 X 60 เซน

5 corrugation, code ROOFPE2-CM Formed 5 corrugation panel for larger damaged areas. Check the size, thickness and material grade against the product spec before ordering. Having the same 5 corrugations alone does not confirm it is interchangeable.

The last two models differ in width and profile, so choose based on the original panel and the repair area. Check the material grade and section details in the product spec before use.

• ROOFPE3-CM: 3 corrugation, 600 mm long. Ask for width and thickness before ordering.
• ROOFPE2/4-CM: rocket head, 2 x 1144 x 600 mm
• ROOFPE4N: 4 corrugation with 2 heads, 2 x 1045 x 600 mm
• ROOFPE2-CM: 5 corrugation. Ask for size and thickness before ordering.

Match the corrugation pattern The same number of corrugations does not mean it is interchangeable. Also compare the pitch, height and end shape of the corrugations, especially for the rocket head and 2 head types. Compare product photos or the Drawing before ordering.

Assess the extent of damage Check the steel around the repair area. If corrosion continues or the damage is larger than the panel, reassess the repair method and part size.

Control the joint quality After the repair, check the weld line, distortion and leaks, and restore the anti corrosion paint system followingthe container owner's requirements

• The roof has corroded through or has tears
• Water leaks into the cargo area
• The roof panel is deformed by impact from container handling equipment
• The steel around the damaged area is starting to corrode
• Damage is found during inspection before handover

Roof damage is often found late because it cannot be seen from the ground. Checking from above during inspections reduces damage to the end customer's cargo.

Container inspections often find damage in several places at once. Order parts in one round to avoid reopening the job.

Should I choose 3, 4, 5 corrugation or rocket head? Choose by the original roof type and the size of the repair area, not by the number of corrugations alone. Larger damage usually needs a panel with more corrugations, but the pitch must also match the original panel. Send photos or a Drawing for our team to check.

How is the rocket head type different from the standard type? It differs in the corrugation end shape and the 1144 mm width, so always compare it with the original panel before ordering.

Are lengths other than 600 mm available? The 3 corrugation, rocket head and 4 corrugation 2 head models are 600 mm long. For the 5 corrugation model, please ask about sizes in stock. If you need another size, tell us what you need.
