Winch Strap with Double J Hook, 75 mm x 9 m

A winch strap (Winch Strap) is a strap designed specifically for use with a Winch mounted on the side of a truck. It has no Ratchet Buckle. One end has a Double J Hook for the anchor point, and the other end feeds into the Winch, which is turned to wind it tight.

This model is 9 metres long and 7.5 cm wide, with a Breaking Strength of 10,000 kg and a Working Load Limit of 5,000 kg, suited to heavy industrial loads that ordinary straps cannot handle.

A Winch Strap uses the pulling force of the Winch on the vehicle, so it can pull the full length of the strap and create high tension for heavy loads. It suits flatbeds with Winches fitted at fixed points. A Ratchet Strap has its own ratchet buckle and works on any vehicle without extra equipment, suited to general cargo securing.

Flatbed operators who regularly haul machinery or steel mostly choose a Winch system, because it is installed once, winch straps can be used at every point along the vehicle, and only the strap needs replacing when worn.
