Container Door Retainer / Customs Catch Bush, Forged (LG87031/1)

Container seal catch bush Code LG87031/1 is a flanged bush for the seal catch set on container doors with the seal hole handle. It is used with the lower retainer plate (Retainer Plate) and the Forged customs catch (Customs Catch). It is a small part that technicians often need during door lock gear repairs.

The bush supports and positions the seal catch on the door leaf. When the bush wears, the seal catch becomes loose and wobbly, so the handle no longer closes neatly into the lock and the customs seal is hard to fit. Replacing the bush together with the seal catch brings the lock set back to a tight fit.

• This bush fits the Forged seal hole handle set only. The flat handle set uses a different part.
• If the seal catch is also worn, replace the seal catch and the bush together.
• After fitting, close the handle and fit a seal to check the clearance.

• The seal catch rocks or wobbles abnormally
• The bush is grooved from wear or the flange is cracked
• Rust has eaten into the metal and deformed the bush

Does bush LG87031/1 fit the flat handle set?

No. The flat handle set uses the Press Type lower retainer plate, code LG84011 which is a different system.
