Container Door Forged Retainer Plate (LG87033)

Forging shapes the part under compression, unlike pressing from plate, which is used for the flat handle model.

The handle retaining set takes load every time the door is opened and closed, and takes impacts during handling, so the strength of the part here directly affects its service life.

The manufacturing method is not an upgrade choice. Each model is designed for a different handle set, so choose based on the set already in use.

It fits compatible seal hole handle sets and works with the handle and mating parts of the door set design.

This model does not replace the flat handle model. If your container uses a flat handle, please see the Press Type lower retainer plate for flat handles

When replacing parts, check that the mounting position, mating clearance and seal hole alignment match, so the handle closes easily and the seal can be fitted normally.

So when buying, compare against the whole existing set, not just the look of the plate.

Check the mating parts Check the handle, mating parts and mounting points for wear, bending or looseness.

Check alignment before fixing permanently Place the handle in the closed position and make sure the parts mate without forcing or bending to fit. Having to bend parts to fit is usually a sign the wrong model was chosen, not that the fitting is unfinished.

Test after fitting Check that the handle opens and closes and fit an actual seal to confirm the mounting position is correct, followingthe container owner's requirements

• The part is bent, cracked or deformed
• Loose mounting points or parts that move abnormally
• The seal hole does not line up with the mating part
• It has to be forced or bent to mate
• Corrosion found at the mounting points during container inspection

Containers that cannot be sealed are often rejected at handover. Keeping this part in stock reduces waiting time for repairs.

Handle set repairs often come with door alignment problems, so check these parts in the same round.

Is the Forged type always stronger? That is not the deciding point. The two models are designed for different handle sets. Choose based on the set already in use.
