Flat Webbing Sling, Eye to Eye, 2 t x 4 m

• Web sling rated at 2 tons, 4 metres long
• Green webbing, following the international colour code for 2 ton slings, so the rating is easy to see on site
• Made from high quality polyester synthetic fibre
• Light weight, easy to move and store
• Less likely to mark the load surface than chain or wire rope slings
• Eye ends reinforced with wear protection
• Suits Vertical, Choker and Basket lifts
• Suited to general lifting in factories and industry
• Stock ready to ship from our Bangplee and Laem Chabang warehouses

The 2 ton web sling is suited to lifting:

• General machinery and equipment
• Steel, pipes and construction materials
• Pallets
• Goods in warehouses and factories
• Loads where surface scratching must be reduced
• General lifting that needs light, easy to use equipment

Before every use, check the webbing for cuts, nicks, burns, tears, wear or damage at the eyes and stitching.

It can be used in several ways, such as

• Straight lift (Vertical Hitch)
• Choke lift (Choker Hitch)
• Basket lift (Basket Hitch)

When lifting, position the webbing so it carries the load evenly, is not twisted and does not touch sharp edges or surfaces that could cut the fibres. Use corner pads or other protection where needed.

• Product name: Flat Web Sling 2T x 4M
• Type: web sling / flat lifting webbing
• Rated load: 2 tons (Vertical Hitch)
• Length: 4 metres
• End type: Eye to Eye
• Material: polyester synthetic fibre

The rated load of a web sling changes with the lift type. General reference values for a 2 ton sling are:

• Vertical Hitch: 2,000 kilograms
• Choker Hitch: about 1,600 kilograms
• Basket Hitch (both legs vertical): up to about 4,000 kilograms

These are reference values based on standard lifting factors. In practice, always follow the rating on the sling Tag and the Certificate for the lot supplied. The sling angle during lifting reduces the rated load below these values.

• Check the sling condition before every use
• Do not exceed the rated load
• Do not lift or move loads over people, and never stand under a suspended load
• Do not use a sling that is cut, torn, nicked, burnt or has damaged stitching
• Do not use a sling whose rating Tag is missing or unreadable
• Do not drag the webbing over rough surfaces or sharp edges
• Use corner protection when lifting loads with sharp edges
• Do not knot or twist the sling during use
• Do not use for lifts with severe shock loading
• Store in a dry place away from strong sunlight, high heat and chemicals that may damage the fibres
