Hook the Grab Hooks at both ends onto the G70 chain links, then set the Ratchet direction and work the handle back and forth to turn the threaded shaft, drawing both ends together until the chain reaches the tension needed.

Once the load is secured, check that the hooks are fully engaged in the chain links, the Ratchet lock is in a safe position, and the chain is not twisted or loaded above its rating.

Check the chain tension again after the vehicle starts moving or after travelling over roads with heavy vibration.

A Ratchet Loadbinder uses a ratcheting handle to turn the threaded shaft step by step, so tension can be controlled and adjusted finely, giving even tension and reducing the risk of handle kickback.

A Lever Loadbinder uses an over centre lever, so it works faster but has a more limited adjustment range, and users must take care with lever kickback when locking or releasing.

Check the condition of the Loadbinder, chain, hooks and anchor points before every use. Do not use equipment that is cracked, bent, worn or damaged.

Do not exceed the specified Working Load Limit, and consider the rating of every component in the system. The system rating is limited by the component with the lowest Working Load Limit.

Do not use a pipe or cheater bar to add leverage, as this can overload the Loadbinder, chain or hooks.

This Loadbinder is designed for cargo securing only. Do not use it for lifting, suspending or moving loads overhead.
