Description

Locking bar anti rack ring (Anti Rack Ring) code LG83900 is a steel ring welded onto the locking bar. It works with the bearing bracket to keep the locking bar in position in use. Replaces rings that are worn, cracked, detached or damaged.

How the anti rack ring works

The ring acts as a stop on the locking bar. When the bar tries to move up or down, the ring meets the bearing bracket and limits the movement, keeping the locking gear working as designed. If the ring comes off or the weld fails, the bar moves abnormally and the cam may not fully engage the keeper.
