Description

Seal through locking cam (Secura Cam, seal through type) fits on the end of the locking bar. When the handle is turned, the cam engages the Secura Keeper on the door frame, and once locked the holes in the cam and keeper line up so a seal can pass through. The door cannot be opened without cutting the seal. Available as left hand (L) code LG87022/1 and right hand (R) code LG87022

Check cam and keeper together If the contact faces are worn, cracked or bent, replacing only the cam may still leave poor engagement
Check locking bar and door alignment Stiff locking or a hard to close door can come from a bent locking bar, worn bushes or a misaligned door. Find the cause before replacing
Test after repair The cam must engage and release normally, the handle must seat in its holder and the seal holes must line up without forcing
